Uno Stacko

This is a very fun game. It is a mix between Uno and Jenga. It is called Uno Stacko. You have to pull out of the bricks but make sure the tower doesn't full down. Uno is also fun for the whole family. Both games are fun game to play but annoying to pack up. Here are some pictures of these awesome games...

Awesome iPod games

All iPod games are cool. Some are awesome though. Our Favourite iPod games would be:

Angry Birds These green pigs have stolen the birds eggs. Use the birds special abilities to battle your way through the levels to destroy the pigs.

Tiny Tower Build your tower. Open stores and Build floors, Hire and evict bitizens and complete missions. In this game you build your tower, stock the floors and hire bitizens to work in your tower.

Jetpack Joyride Barry has broken in and stolen the jetpack. Fly your jetpack with Barry attached as far as possible. Avoid missiles, lasers and Zappers. Collect vehicles, coins and Spin Tokens.

WARNING: Very fun and addictive.

Wooden Castle

This block of wood is more then just a block of wood. It is in fact a really cool piece of wood that turns into a castle. This castle is made out of Juniper and came to us from Tasmania. Here it is in wooden block view and then in the awesome castle form...

My Super Yummy Pretzels

I made these Pretzels and they were the best. They were glazed on the outside and soft and chewy on the inside. I found the recipe in the book "Show Off: How to do everything one step at a time". The book looks like this...

Cool Voice Changers

Wow, a silly talking robot that records what you say but plays it back in a high or low voice; just like the effect that helium and nitrogen have on your voice, except a lot safer. It looks cool and makes you sound cool. Here is a picture of this awesome robot (sent to us by cool cousin DC from Wales)....

The Robot

Some Apps that do a similar thing and change your voice are Talking Tom (Cat) and Talking Ben (Dog). You can download them (for free) onto your iPod or iPhone. You can also interact with them...

A bit more Lego...

It has been a while since I have done a Lego post, so here you are. These sets are from the 3rd Harry Potter release. Just a reminder that to find out how many pieces in a set, you can just get on Brickset. We have a lot of Harry Potter Lego and this is only a bit of it...

Horrible Histories

Today I would like to tell you a little about some of our favourite books - the Horrible Histories series. This series is written by Terry Deary. Of all the books I've read that he has written, my favourite would have to be the 10 best Greek legends. The reason I like his books is because he makes learning fun and puts incredible detail into his illustrations. You should give them a go.

This is our collection.

Roland Harvey

Roland Harvey is one of my favourite authors because of the way he writes and illustrates his books. He can draw some really cool pictures. I own three of his books and have read a few others. They all have a different story line which is great. I have taken you some pictures to show how good he is...

Old Fashioned Games

Old Games can be pretty cool, huh? Quoits is a great game when you are camping or are bored. But have you ever seen Table Quoits? Table Quoits is exactly the same but the only difference is that it's downsized. Here is a picture of it....

Puzzles

Today I would like to tell you about another thing I like to do, puzzles! If there's one thing I like to do on the weekend it's puzzles. Out of all the different types of puzzles my favourites are Sudoku puzzles. My favourite brand of puzzle books are the pocket puzzles (as you will see below).

NINTENDO

Nintendo has always been a great gaming company. Have you ever thought that they never had DS's or Wii's 20 years ago. You used to have Game and Watches. You could get Donkey Kong or Mario and many other games. They did not have game cards like they have now. You only had the one game per machine. Today you can get all different games for your DS or Wii. You only need to plug the game card into the console. Here are some photos of the old game systems and some of the new ones...

National Geographic Experiment

We recently had a go at the National Geographic Earthquake and Volcano kit. It was loads of fun as we had a go at the volcano, experimenting with different ingredients to create an eruption.

We have not yet had a trial of the earthquake part of the kit but it looks pretty fun as well!

Many Mini's

Every year Mini Car Clubs of Australia meet in Hay where they have a parade and a show and shine. They also race on the flat, dry Hay plains and get their mini's dirty. Here are some pics of them in action....
