A bit more Lego...

It has been a while since I have done a Lego post, so here you are. These sets are from the 3rd Harry Potter release. Just a reminder that to find out how many pieces in a set, you can just get on Brickset. We have a lot of Harry Potter Lego and this is only a bit of it...

Horrible Histories

Today I would like to tell you a little about some of our favourite books - the Horrible Histories series. This series is written by Terry Deary. Of all the books I've read that he has written, my favourite would have to be the 10 best Greek legends. The reason I like his books is because he makes learning fun and puts incredible detail into his illustrations. You should give them a go.

This is our collection.

Roland Harvey

Roland Harvey is one of my favourite authors because of the way he writes and illustrates his books. He can draw some really cool pictures. I own three of his books and have read a few others. They all have a different story line which is great. I have taken you some pictures to show how good he is...

Old Fashioned Games

Old Games can be pretty cool, huh? Quoits is a great game when you are camping or are bored. But have you ever seen Table Quoits? Table Quoits is exactly the same but the only difference is that it's downsized. Here is a picture of it....

Puzzles

Today I would like to tell you about another thing I like to do, puzzles! If there's one thing I like to do on the weekend it's puzzles. Out of all the different types of puzzles my favourites are Sudoku puzzles. My favourite brand of puzzle books are the pocket puzzles (as you will see below).

NINTENDO

Nintendo has always been a great gaming company. Have you ever thought that they never had DS's or Wii's 20 years ago. You used to have Game and Watches. You could get Donkey Kong or Mario and many other games. They did not have game cards like they have now. You only had the one game per machine. Today you can get all different games for your DS or Wii. You only need to plug the game card into the console. Here are some photos of the old game systems and some of the new ones...
